The Audience suple the penalty of prison of Messi by a fine

The Audience of Barcelona has agreed to substitute the penalty of 21 months of prison imposed to the international Argentinian of the FC Barcelona Lionel Messi, by three crimes against the Public Inland revenue, by a fine of 252.000 euros.

In a car of execution of sentence, the section eighth of the Audience of Barcelona, in accordance with the criterion of the Fiscalía, has decided to substitute the three penalties of seven months of prison imposed to the Argentinian star by a fine, by value of 400 euros by each day of conviction, what adds in total 252.000 euros.

Like this then , the Fiscalía no opone to the replacement by fine of the respective penalties of prison of each accused whenever the daily quota was the maximum, 400 newspapers. Of this form, Messi would have to pay 255.000 euros and his father 180.000 euros.

The Public Ministry proposes this quantity taking into account the criterion of the same Section 8 of the Audience of Barcelona in the moment to fix the penalty of Javier Mascherano.
