Despite still not having a medical discharge, Ansu Fati has received the "ok" from the doctors to join the dynamics of the first team. However, Xavi will be careful with his evolution

The return of Ansu Fati is the best 'signing' of Xavi Hernández for the rest of the season. The versatile Barça attacker will continue the process of recovering from his muscle injury progressively with the whole group, after showing positive results in his last MRI. The club's medical services have given the go-ahead for him to rejoin the dynamics of the first team, but still without a definitive medical discharge.

The next weeks will be crucial to define the disposition of the attacker. If his evolution is adequate, he will be able to be on the field of play again, competing with the elastic Barça player. Of course, the coach will not risk him again and will be extremely cautious with the minutes he can give him, especially in the Europa League, where there is a risk of extension.

Despite this, the energy he brings to the locker room is remarkable. According to 'Mundo Deportivo', the coaching staff and his teammates welcomed him with applause after his return to training was confirmed. He is one of the most loved by the club and his presence means an emotional 'high' for everyone, just at the best moment of the campaign, both for the results achieved and for the sensations that the team leaves on the pitch.

At the age of 19, the '10' suffered a disinsertion of the proximal tendon of the femoral biceps of the left thigh in the Copa del Rey round of 16 match against Athletic Bilbao. In the previous days, he had seen action on his return against Real Madrid in the semifinal of the Spanish Super Cup, where he scored the goal that would take the Catalans to extra time. However, against the 'lions' he had no luck and retired in tears at 96' minutes, saying goodbye to the Cup when he fell (3-2) in San Mamés.

The possible dates of his return

Ansu underwent conservative treatment in order to be ready in less than three months, after rejecting the advice of the club to undergo an operation that would leave him out for the whole season, although with a firmer suture for the future. After several weeks of recovery by physiotherapist Joaquin Juan in Madrid, everything indicates that his official return is closer than ever.

Although he wants to return to activity as soon as possible, the truth is that Xavi has no plans to risk him. The correct thing would be to see him on April 14 in the second leg at the Camp Nou against Eintracht Frankfurt for the Europa League quarterfinals, always taking into account the intensity of the game, or on matchday 32 of the League against Cádiz, also at home.
