Hansi Flick's Barça will take to the pitch at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah this Wednesday wearing, for the first time, their fourth kit for the 2025/26 season, the jersey of which pays homage to the 0-3 victory at the Bernabéu in 2005
FC Barcelona took advantage of the 2026 Spanish Super Cup to debut their fourth official kit for the 2025/26 season. As we reported in FCBN, the kit was chosen for the semi-final against Athletic Club (8:00 PM), this Wednesday at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The jersey was officially unveiled on November 19th, commemorating the twentieth anniversary of the mythical victory at the Santiago Bernabéu against Real Madrid (0-3) and, although it has been available for several weeks on the Blaugrana online store, it had not yet been used in official matches by the team led by Hansi Flick.

Barça Unveils New Kit in Super Cup for the First Time
Barça will be the home team at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in the semifinal against Athletic and next Sunday, January 12, in a hypothetical final against Real Madrid or Atlético de Madrid. In this regard, the Catalans will also wear the fourth kit in the eventual decisive stageIn its 27 previous Super Cup appearances, Barça had never debuted an alternative kit in the tournament. The last time Barça officially debuted a jersey in the Super Cup was in the 2018 edition, against Valencia (1-2)
That season (18/19), Barça played their first official match on August 12 in Tangier, Morocco, a week before their LaLiga debut. However, the Catalans used their home kit for the season in that match, which they had already worn during preseason.
This year, however, the blaugrana team has decided to debut its fourth kit mid-season in the Super Cup, something unprecedented since the tournament has been held in January with a 'final four' format (semifinals and a single-leg final)The last time Barça modified its kit in the Super Cup was in the semi-final of the 2023 edition, against Betis. The Catalans won on penalties in a match where they wore maroon shorts at the request of the RFEF
The fourth kit could also be used in the Cup and Champions League
After the Super Cup, Barcelona will also be able to alternate its home jersey with the fourth kit in Copa del Rey and Champions League matches. This would certainly be the kit chosen for the second Clásico against Real Madrid in LaLiga on the second weekend of May (matchday 35), as well as any other clash against the 'merengues' in the other two competitions in play.
