The FC Barcelona will have to travel again to Saudi Arabia to contest the Supercopa Spanish. The culés already know the date and the rival for his first party, in a new edition of the 'Final Four' that has created the Federation

Riad, capital of Saudi Arabia, will be again the stage of the next edition of the Supercopa of Spain 2023, that will celebrate of the 11 to 15 January repeating the format of 'Final Four' contested in the two last seasons. The Betis, like champion of the Glass of Rey, premières in the competition. They will accompany him the Real Madrid, champion of the last League, the FC Barcelona and the Valency like runners-up of both tournaments.

In this occasion, Barça - Betis and Real Madrid - Valencia will be the semifinals, that will contest the days 11 and 12 January, and the final will be the day 15. The order of the two parties still is for confirming. The tournament will contest in his whole (semifinals and final) in the stadium King Fahd of Riad, with capacity for more than 60.000 viewers, a headquarters that already has been used in previous years.

From the 2020, the president of the RFEF, Luis Rubiales, took the idea to change the model of this trophy to change it of headquarters, carrying it out of Spain and involving to four teams, instead of two. It was just before the pandemia when it premièred this new format and, since, has contested the trophy to half of season and with semifinals and final.

The 40 million euros of planned income by the Supercopa in Arabia will go will have to 20 of them to the Spanish Federation. Whereas the others 20 will divide between the four teams: Real Madrid and Barça will earn 2,8 millions each one; 1,7 millions will earn Valencia and 750.000 the Real Betis. To his time, the finalists will earn one million more and the winner another extra million.
