FC Barcelona had already finalized the departures of Ansu Fati, Astralaga, and Iñaki Peña. Only Héctor Fort's situation remained to be resolved, and on the last day of the market, his loan to Elche was confirmed.
The FC Barcelona 2025/26 has mirrored the scenario, in terms of loaned players, of last year's summer market. This is because, after the loan of Héctor Fort to Elche CF for one season, the Catalan club has completed its fourth loan departure in the current transfer window.
The departure of Héctor Fort to Elche, the fourth, is in addition to those of Iñaki Peña, also to Elche, Ansu Fati to AS Monaco and Ander Astralaga to Granada. All the players leave Barça for one season, unless once the loan is over a definitive transfer is negotiated.

In this way, for the second consecutive summer, Barcelona closes the summer transfer market with four youth players loaned to other teams, with the expectation of gaining playing time and experience or generating income from future transfers.
Of the players who left on this path in 2024, only Oriol Romeu remained at the club, although his contract was finally terminated.

In this context, the players loaned out last season were Clément Lenglet to Atlético de Madrid, who finally, upon returning this summer, terminated his contract as a player for the Catalan club to sign for the 'colchoneros' until the summer of 2028.
It should be noted that the French defender played the 2023/24 season on loan, but in the Premier League with Aston Villa, while in 2022/23 he was part of Tottenham Hotspur; that is, in the last three seasons he played on loan, showing that he was not in Barça's plans.
Another player who left on loan for the 2024/25 season was the left-back Álex Valle, who played the first half of the season on loan at Celtic in Scotland, while in the second part of the season he went on loan to Como 1907, who at the end of the season paid his release clause of 6 million euros.

- Álex Valle: loaned to Celtic and Como
- Vitor Roque: loaned to Real Betis
- Oriol Romeu: loaned to Girona
Likewise, another player who went on loan for the past season was Vítor Roque, who went to Real Betis. However, Barça decided to break the loan in February to sell 80% of his rights to Palmeiras for about 25.5 million plus 5 in variables. The remaining 20% is retained by the Blaugrana club.
Barcelona paid 30 million euros fixed to Atlético Paranaense in the summer of 2023, to finally incorporate him in the winter of 2024, under the orders of Xavi Hernández, once the striker reached the age of majority.
In this order of ideas, Oriol Romeu also left Barcelona for the 2024/25 season and landed at Girona on loan, a club he could return to this season after the termination of his contract with Barça.
