OFFICIAL: Joan García, new Barça goalkeeper until 2031

It's official: FC Barcelona has a new goalkeeper. The Azulgrana team used its various communication channels to announce the signing of Joan García, who, as reported by the Barcelona team, will sign next Friday —in a private event at the club's offices— a contract until June 30, 2031.

In that sense, the 'culé' team has commented that the investment made amounts to €25M corresponding to his release clause, plus the CPI adjustment. It should be remembered that, as mentioned above, this adjustment only increased the operation by an additional 1.34 million euros, so Barcelona ended up disbursing a total of 26.3 'kilos' for the goalkeeper native to Sallent de Llobregat.
