Barça's squad continues to increase its market value. Along with Lamine Yamal, 7 first-team players have improved their value this 2025

Calendar of FC Barcelona

The FC Barcelona squad continues to rise in the European market. After its latest update, the specialized website 'Transfermarkt' placed Lamine Yamal as the most valuable footballer in the world, with a market value of 200 million euros.

The brilliant end of the season for the culé '19', who added 18 goals and 23 assists in 55 games, along with his exhibition against France in the Nations League 'semis', contributed to improving his value in the first half of the year.

In addition to the increase in value of the Mataró player, another seven Barça players have increased their value in the first half of 2025. In Lamine's case, the 17-year-old winger increased his value by 20 million, as did Pedri González.

The midfielder is now worth 140 'kilos', while Raphinha (€90M) completes the podium of the most expensive players in the culé squad. The Brazilian went up 10 million compared to his previous valuation, after finishing the season as Champions League top scorer (13) and second highest scorer of the team (34).

Ferran, Gerard Martín, Eric García... The culés who have raised their value this year

Along with Lamine, Pedri and Raphinha, another who increased his value by 10 million was Pau Cubarsí. The center-back is now worth €80M, still 15 'kilos' more than Jules Koundé. The Frenchman went from €60M to €65M, while Ferran Torres was the third culé with the highest increase in value.

The 'Shark', thanks to his scoring rebound in the second half of the season (he closed the season with 19 goals), is now worth 40 'kilos', €12M compared to his previous value. Others who took advantage of Hansi Flick's minutes in the final stretch of 24/25 were Gerard Martín and Eric García.

The left-back went from €7.5M to €12M, while the center-back converted to pivot and right-back is now worth around 18 million euros (previously €15M). Thus, eight Barça players increased their value by a total of 74.5 million euros.

Ronald Araujo and Gavi, the biggest market value drops in Barcelona this year

On the other hand, another eight culés are trading lower on Transfermarkt. Of the current Barça squad, Ronald Araujo is the one who lost the most millions in value during the first half of the year. The 'charrúa' is now worth 35 million, €15M less than his previous price.

Gavi, meanwhile, also dropped 10 'kilos' and is now worth around €60M. Both had little prominence in the final stretch of 24/25, as they had complications returning to their best form after missing the first few months of the season.

Others who paid dearly for their inactivity were Ter Stegen, Christensen and Iñaki Peña, the latter due to a technical decision. The same happened with Pablo Torre and Pau Víctor, practically invisible throughout the season.

The most striking case, however, is that of Robert Lewandowski. Although the Pole was Barça's top scorer with 42 goals in 52 games, the age factor (he will turn 37 in August), along with his injury layoff in the final stretch of the season, made him drop 3 million compared to his previous price. Now, the '9' is worth €12M, the same value as Ter Stegen and Christensen.

This was the case of Dani Olmo, Fermín López, Alejandro Balde, Frenkie de Jong, Iñigo Martínez, Wojciech Szczesny, Marc Casadó, Marc Bernal, Héctor Fort and Ansu Fati. The latter two are expected to leave in the summer market.
