Héctor Fort is marked as one of Barça's possible discards this summer, and in France, a club from the capital would be interested in signing him
FC Barcelona could receive a formal offer from a French team for Héctor Fort in the coming weeks. The 19-year-old full-back has a very complicated time staying at the club, as Hansi Flick has Jules Koundé and Eric García as alternatives for the right-back.
Although the Catalan defender can also occupy the left side, the presence of Alejandro Balde and Gerard Martín leaves this demarcation well covered, although the latter has options in England to leave the club in the summer market.
In that sense, the newspaper 'L'Equipe' assures that Paris FC would be interested in signing Fort. The team led by Stéphane Gilli has just been promoted to Ligue 1 for the first time in more than four decades and, according to the French newspaper, has Malian Hamari Traoré as its main target for the right side.
How much money could Barça receive from the sale of Héctor Fort?
The 33-year-old defender is not in Real Sociedad's plans and could arrive in the French capital for a lower amount or even on a free transfer. Héctor, on the other hand, will hardly leave Barça through this route.
The '32' has a contract until June 2026 and, although his renewal has not been closed, his termination clause remains at 10 million euros. This would be the amount that the club hopes to obtain for a possible transfer.
Fort made the leap to the first team in early 2024 and, since then, has 3 assists in 30 official matches with the first team. In addition to the possible interest from Paris FC, Borussia Dortmund would also be following in the footsteps of the Catalan defender.
Niko Kovac's team, unlike the French team, will play in the next edition of the Champions League, which represents a much more interesting alternative for the Barça youth player. In the 24/25 season, the full-back barely accumulated 710 minutes of action spread over 21 matches (only 4 as a starter).
Flick will continue to give Héctor Fort opportunities in the final stretch of the pre-season
So far in the Asian tour, the right-back played 45 minutes in the thrashing against FC Seoul (3-7), leaving good feelings when projecting in attack, but some doubts in the defensive work.
The third goal of the Koreans fell on his side, although the '32' had no direct responsibility for the goal. Against Daegu FC, next Monday (13:00 CEST), Hansi Flick could give him more minutes to help him show himself and find a team when he returns to Catalonia.
Barça will close the pre-season next Sunday with the dispute of the Joan Gamper Trophy, against Como from Italy. Then will come the debut in LaLiga against Mallorca, on Saturday, August 16, a date on which the club hopes to have already resolved several of the pending folders, including the departures of Héctor Fort and Iñaki Peña, two fixed discards for the 25/26 season.
