The FC Barcelona squad continues to rise in value in the European market. After its latest update, the specialized website 'Transfermarkt' values the 23 players of the first team at 1.11 billion euros, with Lamine Yamal being the most valuable player on the planet.

The player from Mataró, two-time winner of the Kopa Trophy and second in the 2025 Ballon d'Or ranking, increased his value by 50 million in the last year, rising to a value of 200 'kilos'. In total, the culé squad is worth 242 million more than its value in October 2024.

In that sense, Barça is the fourth club with the highest increase in value in the last 12 months. Ahead of them are Chelsea (€364M), PSG (€303M), and Eintracht Frankfurt (€294M), according to figures from the CIES Football Observatory.

Behind Lamine Yamal, in terms of market value, is Pedri González. The midfielder also increased his valuation by 50 million and is now worth 140 'kilos', while Raphinha (€90M) completes the podium of the most expensive players in the Barça squad.

The Brazilian has increased by 10 million in the last 12 months, after finishing the season as the Pichichi of the Champions League (13) and second top scorer of the team (34) in 24/25, behind Lewandowski (42).

Alongside Lamine, Pedri, and Raphinha, another who doubled his valuation was Pau Cubarsí. The center-back is now worth €80M, still €15M more than Jules Koundé. The Frenchman went from €55M to €65M, while Ferran Torres was the fourth Barça player with the highest increase in valuation.

The 'Shark', thanks to his goal-scoring surge in the second half of the season (he closed the season with 19 goals), is now worth 50 'kilos', 20 more than the previous year. The same happened with Alejandro Balde, who is now worth 60 'kilos' (40 a year ago). Another notable increase was that of Marc Casadó, who also doubled his value to be worth 30 million.

In total, 14 Barcelona players increased their value in the last year, including newcomers Joan García (€25M) and Roony Bardghji (€10M). The goalkeeper was worth 10 'kilos' a year ago, while the Swedish forward only went up 1 million.

Gavi and Ronald Araujo, the biggest drops in market value in Barcelona this year

On the other hand, eight other Barça fans are valued lower on Transfermarkt. Of the current Barça squad, Pablo Gavi is the one who lost the most millions in value during the last 12 months. The 'Andalusian' is now worth 40 million, €50M less than his price in October 2024.

Ronald Araujo, meanwhile, also saw his price drop by half and is now valued in the region of €35M. Both played a limited role in the final stretch of the 24/25 season, as they struggled to regain their best form after missing the first few months of 24/25 due to physical problems. The '6', in fact, has relapsed with his knee problems.

Others who paid dearly for their inactivity were Ter Stegen and Christensen. The German lost 12 million in value (now worth €8M), while the Dane went from 30 'kilos' to €12M. Frenkie de Jong also saw his valuation drop by €15M, despite regaining his starting position this year.

The third signing of the summer for the Azulgranas, Marcus Rashford, also dropped €20M in Transfermarkt due to his limited role in the first part of the 24/25 season with Manchester United. For now, the Englishman is valued at around 40 million.

Another striking case is that of Robert Lewandowski. Although the Pole was the 'Pichichi' (top scorer) for Barça with 42 goals in 52 matches, the age factor (he turned 37 in August), along with his absence due to injury in the final stretch of the season, caused him to drop 5 million compared to his price in October 2024. Now, the '9' is worth €10M.

Barcelona Retains Fifth Most Valuable Squad in the World

Of the 23 players in the FC Barcelona squad, only Dani Olmo maintained his value intact in the last 12 months. The Terrassa native's value remains at 60 million euros, while Wojciech Szczesny, the second oldest player in the squad (35), is the player with the lowest value (only €1M) after returning from retirement just one year ago.

Thus, Barça maintains the fifth most valuable squad in the world of football, with 1,110 million euros. Real Madrid maintains the lead with €1,400M, followed by Arsenal (€1,330M), Manchester City (€1,230M) and Liverpool (€1,120M), after a record summer with almost 500 'kilos' spent on reinforcements.
