Barça is close to collecting the €40M that Libero still owed, after pressing with the entry of a new investor in Barça Vision
In the last few hours, a reassuring message would have arrived at the offices of FC Barcelona. The €40M that Libero Football Finance MG owes to the Blaugrana institution could arrive soon. This thanks to the agreement for Barça Vision.
The information was shared by Miguel Galán, president of the National Center for Football Coaches Training (CENAFE). Similarly, the president pointed out that this action by Libero is because Barcelona was looking for another investor to cover the money owed by the German company related to the company Bridgeburg Invest SL, absorbed by Barça Productions at the beginning of the year.
LIBERO, will pay the 40 million euros it owes to @FCBarcelona_es for Barca Vision.

Libero has reacted after learning that @FCBarcelona_es was about to complete the sale of the percentage that they (Líbero) stopped paying for Barça Vision, an operation that I announced... pic.twitter.com/R796PX50UU
Galán also pointed out that, after having disbursed €20M, Libero will pay another 40 'kilos' to complete the 60 of the agreement with the Barcelona team. He shared this information quoting journalist Christian Falk.
Apparently, this possible economic injection for Barcelona could be included in the budget for the 2025/26 season.
In this sense, according to the latest information, last summer the Aramark Group was the one who assumed the debt of the remaining €40M that did not arrive from Libero. The American supplier took over 6.13% of Barça Vision.
The negotiation between FC Barcelona and Libero
In the summer of 2023, Libero reached an agreement with the Blaugrana entity to keep 9.3% of the shares of Bridgerburg Invest. However, the money never arrived in its entirety to the coffers of the Catalan team.
It is worth noting that Barcelona retains 53.42% of its shares, so the percentage distributed as part of the negotiation with the different investors is 46.28%. The numbers of the investors are divided as follows:
- Blaugrana Invest (18.96 %)
- Vestigia (4.93 %)
- Hellgas (14.73 %)
- Orpheus (1.83 %)
- Aramark (6.13 %)
Barça is under the 1/1 rule
Galán also stated a couple of days ago that the culé club has never left the 1/1 rule, although LaLiga says otherwise:
"According to what I have learned at the last minute, the club will comply with the 1:1 rule again, although it has never really abandoned it"
Likewise, Miguel Galán pointed out that Barcelona complies with this rule because the auditor of the culé team will include the numbers from the sale of the VIP seats. This will act as a real asset of the club.
For his part, the president of Barça referred to the issue of financial 'fair play' in his appearance before the media in the framework of his participation in the Culé Senate, where he reported that the club was already working under the 1/1 rule:
"All this allows us to be in 'fair play' in relation 1/1. We achieved it with a lot of work and collaboration. That's why we were able to sign Dani Olmo. We have overcome many difficulties"
These statements arose after the assessment he made of the income obtained by Barcelona. In this way, the dignitary argued that the team will enter €980M.
