It fulfils a year of the demise of Tito Vilanova

This Saturday 25 April fulfils a year of the demise of Tito Vilanova. A long illness put end to the life of a culé of a lot of category. The technician that directed beside Guardiola to the best Barça of the history and that afterwards, already in solitary, trained to the team of the 100 points in League, did not surpass the illness that in July of 2013 had forced him to leave the Barcelona bench.

Anonymous visitors, personalities of the world of the sport, of the institutions and of the civil society participated in the popular homage in the space of condolencias that enabled in the installations of the Club. Likewise, they received more than 12.000 posts of condolence arrived of all the world. Three days after his death the Cathedral of Barcelona received the last goodbye public to Tito.

"Field of training Tito Vilanova"

In homage to the ex technician and ex player of the Barça, the past 20 February the field of training of the first team happened officially to call Tito Vilanova. The club, in accordance with the family, decided to baptise his main field of training of the Sportive City with the name of Tito.

The act with which inaugurated the new nomenclature of the field where usually trains the first team had the participation, among others, of familiar and friends of Tito Vilanova, as well as of the Barcelona president, Josep Maria Bartomeu , and the staff to the complete of the FC Barcelona.
