Some brushstrokes of the new Barça of Ernesto Valverde

The era Valverde could not have begun better. Three parties, three victories. Champions of the International Champions Cup, a tournament that allows to measure the first strengths of the best European teams. And the Barça has been to the height, exhibiting a very high physical level and defeating to all the rivals, always by the minimum, but generating a lot of opotunidades of goal.  

It is premature to take out conclusions after three friendly of pre-season. But yes they serve to build an imaginary of how could Valverde organise to the team. A priori, we have not seen a change in the 4-3-3, although Messi follows going down increasingly to the centre to organise -something already usual in the two last campaigns-, abandoning the right band -Vidal and Semedo had a lot visited for adueñarse of the same-. 

What more has surprised of these parties has been the pressure of the men of Valverde. Especially in the first-halves. The Barça tightened up and took out benefit of this. In front of the Madrid had several occasions after stealing the balloon in contrary field, something that remembered to the stage of Guardiola, where existed an incessant pressure that suffocated to the rivals. 

The pre-season does not serve to take out conclusions, would be precipitated, but yes have been able to see a Barça hambriento, longing for mark, wishing win, tightening for demolishing to the rival. The way to the success is that, without place to doubts. The talent is here, intocable. They are missing the legs and that the head ask the same that the Saturday: struggle to win. This Wednesday, friendly second, in front of the United, a more filmed team. We will see if it keeps this pressure up.

In the general balance of the pre-season in United States, explained that the three victories achieved are due to that "they are the consequence of the game. We centre us in generating occasions and dominate. And that do not generate us. And look for the result. We are to win, but therefore we have to centre us in the game.
