Barça works to get a sponsor and new credit with Goldman Sachs

The FC Barcelona board will try to close this month the signing of a new sponsor for the Blaugrana shirt, in addition to the credit for 1,500 million euros with Goldman Sachs to finance the 'Espai Barça'
The president of the FC Barcelona, Joan Laporta, and his general director, Ferran Reverter, work to close sources of financiamiento for the next five seasons of the club. One of the priorities is the signature of the new sponsor for the T-shirt blaugrana, since the agreement with the Japanese company Rakuten finalises in June of this year, to the term of the present course.
Signed in 2017 by the previous managerial, the agreement with Rakuten closed by a total of 55 more variable millions by four years. However, the company reduced to 30 millions his contribution to the club product of the pandemia of the COVID-19, expanding the agreement by a year. This agreement is for finalising and Laporta does not want to arrive to June without sponsor confirmed for the 2022-2023.

The financiamiento of Goldman will promote two of the main projects of Laporta for his management: Barça Studios and Espai Barça. The commercial and sportive future of the club depends, largely, of the success of these projects.
Sale and construction in sight
With Barça Studios, put it is to close the sale of a percentage of the audiovisual project (between 20 and 49%), always conserving the stock majority. By his part, the works of the Espai Barça would have to begin this same summer in the Camp Nou.
