There is not good memory of the last derbi between FC Barcelona and RCD Espanyol arbitrated by the Valencian Mateu Lahoz. The referee did not know to impose and treated to cut the aggressiveness visitor with a rain of cards that gave with two expulsions

Calendar of FC Barcelona

It did a lot upsetting Luis Enrique in the previous press conference to the crash in that it expected that this derbi between Barça and Espanyol followed the logical courses of the sportsmanship. Perhaps remembering the two crashes in the Camp Nou between both teams of the past season, with the rosary of patadas and aggressions blanquizules. Or it can be that also it agreed of the of does two seasons in Cornellà, with Mateu Lahoz like referee and with a lot of controversy.

As with the Valencian giving justice could see his side less "british" and more intolerante. A total of ten cards showed in that party, including two expulsions, one for each team that did not leave well to anybody.

They were Jordi Alba and Héctor Moreno those that abandoned the crash ahead of time, by both double cautions. Beside them other six footballers finish with a yellow to his backs in a duel that, for against of the restless hand of Mateu, finish with a lot of tension and with a zero to two for the culés (Messi and Neymar).

Barça and Espanyol, the less tarjeteados this 16-17

Something that contrasts with these registers is that both teams are the less tarjeteados of LaLiga 2016-2017. As the FC Barcelona has seen 33 cardboards in what we carry of course, by the 31 of the Espanyol. The current statistics affirm that it would not owe to be east a party bronco and full of interruptions although, as I also aim the Barcelona technician, "a derbi is a party of particular importance for the fans, everything is different". And in a crash like this all can happen.
