UEFA makes official the admission of Barça in the Champions League provisionally

The UEFA announced this Thursday that his Committee of Appeal has decided to admit the participation of the FC Barcelona this season in his competitions and that the relative procedure to his admission by the 'case Negreira' remains suspended. However, the European organism has wanted to leave clear that all will be able to restart of job on request of the inspectors of Ethical and Discipline (IED) attendants of the case.

"The FC Barcelona is admitted provisionally to participate in the competitions of clubs of the UEFA 2023/2024. It reserves a future decision on the admission/exclusion of the competitions of clubs of the UEFA", signalled the organism in a communiqué. Of this way the entity will not have problems to be head of series in the new edition of the tournament of clubs more important of the world, although it will have to follow closely any possible novelty in the future near.

Clear contours for the Barça by part of the UEFA

The UEFA also invites to the researchers to charge of the case to continue and finalise his investigation and send a new report to the Organ of Appeal of the UEFA when they consider that it has to evaluate the admission/exclusion of the Barcelona. Besides, it aims that the Barça has the obligation to keep informed to the IED of the advance of the investigations in course of form proactiva and to facilitate to the IED all the documents and information that request.
