The elections, between 15 March and on 15 June

The elections to the presidency of the FC Barcelona could celebrate between 15 March and on 15 June and, to be possible, in day of party in the Camp Nou

According to the statutes of the club, "when the announcement was consequence of the ending anticipated of the mandate of the managerial board, with nomination of managing commission (...) The announcement will make by this commission inside the three following months to the takeover of the charges. The elections to the presidency of the club will celebrate between 15 March and on 15 June immediately previous to the ending of the mandate, except that this was not possible for treating of the supposition regulated in the article 32.4 of nomination of managing commission. In any case, it is necessary to procure that the elections celebrate in a day in that it contest in the Camp Nou a party of official competition of the first team of football of the club". This would suppose that the elections could carry out on 10 May (party with the Real Sociedad) or on 24 May (last party of league, against the Sportive).

When treating of an ending of mandate anticipated of the board, the statutes add that "the new board will initiate the mandate from the moment of the takeover, that will produce inside the ten natural days following to the date of the election. In this supposition, the length of the mandate will be of five natural years complete, more the time comprised between the day of the takeover and the first 1 July following to the takeover".

Another possibility: on 21 June

The elections could summon for further of 15 June so that it do not repeat what occurred in 2003 after the victory of Joan Laporta. As a result of the complaint of the partner Vicenç Pla, the justice determined that the period between the 22 and the 30 of this month of June could consider a year of mandate and that new elect board had to endorse 27 million euros to face up to the losses of the previous season.

Then, the elections could celebrate on 21 June so that the board chosen took possession on 1 July, ten days afterwards, that is to say, the following season, and therefore avoided any legal conflict. To do it of this way, however, it would be necessary to modify the statutes.
