The FC Barcelona presents the new Access 14

The new main entrance to the installations of the FC Barcelona, situated now in the Access 14 and presented this Tuesday by the managerial Jordi Moix, opens the Club to the neighbourhood and improves the interaction with the neighbours with new public spaces of free access. This project dignifies the main entrance to the installations of the FC Barcelona in the enclosure of Them Corts, facilitates the connection between the main access of the enclosure and the entrance of the Stadium of grandstand, by where flows more public, and resolves the problems that poses the convivencia between the vehicles and the pedestrians, so much in the day in day out as in days of party, so that the people seat safer.

The new Access 14 also facilitates the route on foot between the main entrance and the social area with the zone of the Boulevard, where finds the Tour Experience and the FCB Shop Megastore; it improves the services to the partner, with new taquillas more modern and efficient; it puts in value the new social headquarters and the auditorium with the connection between the two inner squares and a future bar and new sanitary, and improves the paisajismo of the enclosure to do it kinder and pleasant with the incorporation of more gardeners, plants and trees.

Of this way, the FC Barcelona happens to have an entrance of 20 hectares mixed for vehicles and pedestrians to a separate for the traffic filmed of vehicles of 17 metres of width (Access 14) and an entrance for pedestrians of 24 metres of width (access 15).

Beside this new main entrance has generated a square of 1.500 m2 that allows to receive to all the fans, especially in the previous moments to the parties. In this square situates now the reply of the source of Canaletas.

The entrance peatonal connects with a runway incorporated to the architecture of the group and that connects the commercial and social zone by means of ramps, stairs and elevators. This runway is a new and big oriel of the Stadium with Collserola like background curtain and will allow to the visitor enjoy of some open spaces, modern and functional. It is adapted for people with reduced and disabled mobility visual or auditory.

Taking advantage of this reform, the Club has expanded in 6 the number of taquillas (now there will be 16), including one for disabled. In this sense, have carried out a series of improvements: it has modified the system of collection, reducing the number of incidences and speeding up the sales; it has installed a system of audio to improve the communication between the taquillero and the customer and have improved the computer teams with the end to reduce the time of wait, doing the fastest sales, among others advances.

The globalidad of the works, that have lasted some six months, have had a cost of 1,5 million euros.
