The UEFA closes the files to the clubs of the Superliga

The authorities of the UEFA have decided to withdraw the sanction to the three teams that still kept in the project of the Superliga (the Real Madrid, the Barcelona and the Juventus of Turín) since the term to present allegations on the case finished this Tuesday and the European organisation does not seem that it want to do another legal movement in this regard.

However, although this seems to be a victory for the ones of the Superliga, the directors of the UEFA have not shelved his posture of opposition to the creation of the Superliga and leaves opened the door to possible sanctions against the three teams in front of the possibility that they make other movements in relation to the constitution of the referred project contrived by the Real Madrid.

The penalizing files opened to the merengues, Barcelona and blanquinegros have remained without effect after the measure in question that it was taken by the UEFA, but does not mean that they go to admit a competition that can go against of the leagues and teams members.

The UEFA ensures that it respects the decisions adopted by the juridical entities, but even so they keep firm in his posture of not allowing that the Superliga whose artífice was the president of the white club, Florentino Pérez.

Recent ultimatum

EI Judge Manuel Ruiz of Lara, gave him a term to the authorities of the UEFA so that they cancelled the files against the clubs founders of the Superliga and filed the disciplinary files against said teams. Likewise, it affirmed that, if they did not close the files in question the president of the UEFA, Aleksander Čeferin, could be arrested and processed by contempt.

"To give fulfillment to the measures cautelares adopted does not suffice with a mere announcement of suspension, but it has to proceed to the cancellation of the same", affirmed the judge of the case. It adds also that "the maintenance of the disciplinary procedures, still in situation of provisional suspension, deploys by himself same the effects of the practical anticompetitivas that the car of measures cautelares adopted inaudita part pretends to cut across".

What follows

Nevertheless, the process still has not finished. Next Friday all the parts were summoned to the court to present the alegatos to the open case after the complaint presented by the members of the Superliga the court 17 of Madrid.
