Carlo Ancelotti praises Xavi's work: "Barça have improved a lot"

Real Madrid and FC Barcelona go back to see the faces this Sunday, in Santiago Bernabéu, in the Classical big second of LaLiga Santander 2021-2022. The group culé visits the feudo madridistas after two years and with the big intention to win against the eternal rival for the first time in six parties, after five defeats and a tie in front of the 'merengues'.

The trainer of the Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti, has spoken on what expects of the party and confirmed that Karim Benzema will not be in the duel: "His absence has not affected to the team. It keeps on being the Pichichi of the League, has marked in a lot of parties. Sometimes if it did not have lesionado would have given him rest", commented, although it considers that without him the team still could win to the Barça.

"Yes, I think so, that can do it. It is, obviously, an important part of this team, but usually finalises the work and we now have to keep this work and look for other solutions up", ensured 'Carletto', the one who has left clear, besides, that does not trust of the group culé, especially by the mejoría that are living with Xavi Hernández.

On the egarense and his work, aimed that "the identity of the Barcelona never changes, has his style of game very clear. Xavi embodies very well this style, is doing it very well, the team has improved a lot and is in a good dynamic. It is a complete team, that plays very well. My opinion is that it is doing it very well".

Pressure for both teams

Although it is not one 'final' of League, because the difference of points still is very big, Ancelotti has recognised that there is not absolute pressure for winning or no: "If we win tomorrow we have three points more, what approaches us to win; if empatamos, a point more; and if we lose, at all. But we do not have to think that the Barcelona is descartado. All the teams go to struggle until the last party".
