LaLiga Has refused the changes proposed by Luis Rubiales

The president of the Real Spanish Federation of Football proposed the morning of this Wednesday a change in the format and operation of LaLiga, a reform that quickly was answered by the body chaired by Javier Thebes.

Likewise, said organ adds that "it would be an irresponsibility any modification of the current format or his mere approach, that to his time would generate an uncertainty on other sports and the no professional football, to which LaLiga contributes 125 million euros by season".

The 'attainments' are the reasons that has exposed LaLiga: "An increase of viewers in the stadiums of more than 20%; a growth of the national audiovisual rights and international of exponential form or an economic stability that has allowed to be the only competition of the big leagues with positive net result in the first season of the COVID".

The proposal of Rubiales
