'LaLiga Impulso', ratified with 'thrashing' and without Barça, Madrid or Athletic

The agreement of LaLiga with the investment fund CVC that inyectará to the competition 1.994 million euros that will deliver between the clubs has been approved definitively. A total of 37 votes in favour, four against and an abstention, determined the votes that took place during the Assembly of clubs of First and Second Division. The FC Barcelona and Real Madrid and Athletic of Bilbao kept his posture of absolute rejection, joint a club of Second, that would be the Ibiza. The abstention would be the Oviedo.

The Barcelona club was represented, of telematic way, by Mateu Alemany, director of football of the Catalan entity, whereas José Ángel Sánchez defended the position of the Real Madrid and Jon Berasategi the one of the Athletic Club. The three positioned against that the project went out advance, but was not sufficient. The 37 clubs are convinced that 'LaLiga Impulse' is the solution to the problems that at present have the teams and that will serve to half and long term.

In return of the injection of the 1.994 million euros, the bottom investor will perceive 11% total of the no audiovisual businesses and 10,95% of the audiovisual in 50 years. The negotiation, refused publicly by Barça, Real Madrid and even the Real Spanish Federation of Football (RFEF) has gone out forward finally after LaLiga achieved a majority reinforced in the Assembly.

In the Extraordinary Assembly, the president of LaLiga, Javier Thebes, aimed that "we are in front of a new milestone in the history of LaLiga and the clubs. We are proud to having reached this agreement with CVC, a project that goes us to allow continue the transformation to a global company of entretenimento digital, strengthening the competition and transforming the experience of the fans".

Likewise, the costarricense recognised that "in spite of all the obstacles that have found us on the way, have carried out this project, that will be a before and an afterwards for the clubs of LaLiga, that go to be able to improve his infrastructures, develop his mark to international level and give steps of giant to follow strengthening the sport and the football all over the world".
