Barça not only won the title: they will also take more than 57 million for their position in LaLiga, according to the official distribution
Winning LaLiga EA Sports 2024/25 not only meant for FC Barcelona the conquest of their twenty-eighth league title, breaking a drought of one season without lifting the trophy in this competition, but it will also bring with it an important injection at the economic level for the coffers of the azulgrana team.
According to Royal Decree-Law 5/2015, of April 30, 50% of LaLiga's television rights are distributed equally among all the teams of the First Division. However, the other half is divided into two parts: 25% based on the position in the final standings and another 25% according to the social implementation of the club. This last section contemplates one third for the average collection in ticket offices and season tickets of the last five seasons, and two thirds for the generation of income through television broadcasts.
How is the money from LaLiga television broadcasts distributed according to the standings?
Taking as a reference the 1,361 million euros distributed in the previous season (last official data available), the 25% destined to the standings (340.25 M€) is distributed according to a pre-established scale. In it, the champion receives 17% of the total, which means that the Catalan team will receive 57.84 M€ only for the place in which it finished in LaLiga.

How will Barcelona collect this money for winning LaLiga EA Sports 2024/25?
This income will not be immediate in its entirety. This money is distributed in a staggered manner over five seasons. 35% is delivered in the first year (2025/26), so Barcelona will receive about 20.2 million euros as an entry.
In the 2026/27 season, it will receive another 20% (11.5 M€). The 26.1 M€ will be divided into three equal parts during the following seasons (15% in the 2026/27 season, 15% in 2027/28 and the other 15% in 2028/29), with 8.7 'kilos' per season until completing the total amount.
