Lewandowski maintains the lead in the LaLiga 24/25 top scorers table after scoring his 19th goal of the tournament in the victory against Sevilla (1-4)
Robert Lewandowski reached 31 goals in the 2024-25 season with his nineteenth goal in LaLiga EA Sports. The Polish striker put FC Barcelona ahead against Sevilla (1-4) with a timely appearance in the 7th minute, in a play started by Raphinha with a great cross directly to the head of Iñigo Martínez, who flicked it to the far post where the '9' appeared behind Juanlu Sánchez to stretch his left leg and finish past goalkeeper Nyland.
With his goal on Sunday, the third he has scored against Sevilla in two matches this season, 'Lewy' maintains the distance from Kylian Mbappé in the race for the Pichichi. The Barcelona forward has 3 more goals than the '9' of Real Madrid (16). 'Kiki' scored in the Madrid derby against Atlético (1-1), a goal that allowed Carlo Ancelotti's side to maintain their lead in LaLiga, although with an increasingly reduced advantage.
Raphinha Rejoins the Scorers Table
Raphinha, for his part, also scored again against Sevilla, a team against which he had provided two assists in the 'five-goal' match in the first half of the season in Montjuïc (5-1). The Brazilian reached 13 goals with a great right-footed shot from outside the area, bringing his total to 24 goals in 35 appearances across all competitions. Cubarsí was the one who set up the Brazilian in a play that sealed the match in favor of the Blaugrana.
Behind Lewandowski, Mbappé, and Raphinha, is Ante Budimir (Osasuna), with 12, one more than Oihan Sancet, who scored a hat-trick against Girona (3-0) on Saturday. Now with 10 is Ayoze Pérez (Villarreal). The Spanish forward also scored in the match against Las Palmas (1-2) and surpasses Kike García (Alavés) and Lukebakio (Sevilla), both with 9. Following them are Vinicius Jr. (Real Madrid), Alexander Sorloth (Atlético de Madrid), Antoine Griezmann (Atlético de Madrid), and Thierno Barry, all with 8 goals. None of them managed to score in matchday 23.
