Sevilla, Villarreal and Valencia have spoken in a joint statement regarding Luis Rubiales' statements in 2020, which they consider to be an act of contempt for their institutions

All they see with restlessness the repercussions that a fact like this can have and expect to receive a public apology in the next hours: "Seville FC, Valencia CF and Villarreal CF condemn the snub and the lack of respect of Luis Rubiales to our entities and, the most important, to the feeling of his fans. Likewise, they show his maximum worry by the possible consequences that can suppose his attitude for with our clubs, since his behaviour does not contribute to the transparency of the competition. Valencia CF, Villarreal CF and Seville FC urge to Luis Rubiales to rectify and apologise publicly to the three institutions and to his fans".
