The primary condition of Ronald Araújo to extend his stay at Barça

Ronald Araújo is, probably, the defender with greater quality in the FC Barcelona. The charrúa, in spite of his youth and 'inexperience' (carries a season and average in the elite), has turned into one of the pillars of the team, with Ronald Koeman or Xavi Hernández. For the Barcelona is a priority 'tie' to the central to avoid surprises of face to the future. They know that with him, would have a referent of here to, minimum, ten years.

It is thus that in the offices of the Camp Nou are moving to achieve the extension of his agreement further of 30 June 2023, especially after knowing that the Real Madrid wants it the next year of free way and that from the Premier League are had to launch an offensive to achieve his traspaso, even in the summer of this year.

Ronald Araújo has taken a very clear decision: it will not move of the Barça. His agent already left clear that it is happy in the Barcelona picture and his intention is to follow, but before has to fulfil a requirement, that is directly related to his pretences salariales. Before, in Navidad, the newspaper 'SPORT' had stood out that "it wants to that the Barça value him by his performances and propose him an agreement chord to this, something that still does not have sucedido". The position has not changed.

The same half has informed that Araújo asks that it pay "him by his performance", conscious that it is one of the fixed headlines of the team and that his current wage is very far of his mates. According to data of 'Salary Sport', the charrúa ingresa some 2,111,200 euros by season, moved away, at least, of what perceives Clément Lenglet, with a wage of 5,851,040 euros by season.

Of acuedo to the information of 'SPORT', Araújo would not be asking that they equalise the conditions salariales, but yes that they approach. The FC Barcelona, by his part, is forced to 'espabilar', because Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United, teams interested in doing with his services, could put big quantities of money on the table.

The Barça splits with a lot of advantage

In spite of the money that can offer the English clubs, the Barça has the advantage that the intention of Araújo, as we mentioned before, is to remain more time in the Camp Nou. For the moment, the balloon remains in the roof of Joan Laporta, Mateu Alemany and company, expecting an answer and, more important still, an agreement much more appeal for the footballer.
