Marcelo carries years being indisputable headline in the left side of the Real Madrid, but this season has not been easy for him. The Brazilian has had an irregular performance and will have to improve of face to the next campaign, that will have to Mendy like competition
Marcelo arrived to the Real Madrid does more than a decade and, since, the past season has been the most complicated for the Brazilian. Since it arrived to Santiago Bernabéu, with hardly 18 years, his level was every time to more until turning into a fundamental piece for the white team, without mattering the trainer that was in the bench.
But in several moments of this last campaign has lost the place, although it recovered it after the return of Zinedine Zidane in the bench. Now, the Brazilian confronts to the hard competition of Ferland Mendy, a side by which the Real Madrid has spent 50 millions. In statements to Realmadrid TV, commented what comes of face to the next season.
Marcelo wanted to leave clear that has so much illusion as at the beginning and that is excited with being able to to follow defending the white T-shirt. "Always I say that I am fulfilling a dream for being in the best club of the world. It is my fourteenth season and have the same illusion that when I arrived. This does not change never", commented.
The Brazilian explained the hardness of the trainings of pre-season. "The balance of these first days is good. They are hard trainings, as in all the pre-seasons. Our aim is to work and give the maximum here to be able to litigate by everything. If we are well physically this goes us to help a lot of all the season", ensured.
A Real Madrid that aspires to everything
Marcelo wanted to leave clear that the aim of the Real Madrid goes to be heave with all the titles. "We are hammering us in the pre-season to give joys to the fans. The aim is to win all, know that it still has not begun the season, but are hard at work to arrive well", sentenced.
To personal level, the Brazilian aimed that it always is had to help to the young players. "Always I try to help to all out of the field. It is the most important so that afterwards they are well inside him. In what they ask me, I am here to help. No only I, but Sergio, Karim, Raphä, Nacho... We carry here a lot of years and are to help to the youngsters because they are the future of the Madrid", said.
