Ludovit Reis is now a Club Brugge player. This operation left an unexpected income in the coffers of the Blaugrana club. How much is it?
FC Barcelona is once again receiving another income for a player they got rid of some time ago. This time, the name in question is Ludovit Reis, a 25-year-old midfielder, who is now a new player for Club Brugge, of the Belgian First Division. The Belgian team paid €7M to acquire the services of the Haarlem native.

In this sense, this transaction leaves an economic benefit to the 'culé' team of €1.75M, corresponding to 25% of a future sale that the Barcelona team secured when transferring him in 2021 to Hamburg for 2.1 'kilos'. With this, the club from the city of Barcelona once again receives a benefit for a player who did not have the opportunity to exploit his talent in the first team.
Ludovit Reis' discreet spell at FC Barcelona
Ludovit Reis, as a Barcelona player, barely managed to enter a few first-team squads in the 2019/20 season, being included in the list of eligible players by Quique Setién, the coach at the time, in two of that season's UEFA Champions League matches: he was on the bench for the second leg of the round of 16 against Napoli (3-1) and in the quarter-finals against Bayern Munich (2-8). Without seeing minutes in either of those two matches.
Now, the Dutchman will face a new challenge at a professional level, after passing through Hamburg, VfL Osnabrück and FC Groningen, joining a Club Brugge that, by the way, was already directly involved in another transaction that left an economic 'pinch' to Barça this summer: the transfer of Ferran Jutglà to Celta de Vigo for an amount that was estimated at around five million euros, of which the 'culé' team kept around €50,000.

Other pending income for Barcelona this summer
It should be remembered that this summer Barcelona must collect for the sale of Jean-Clair Todibo to West Ham (€8M for 20% of his transfer), as well as for the operations that have led to:
- Ferran Jutglà (50,000 euros for 10% of the capital gain from the sale)
- Ilaix Moriba (600,000 euros for 10% of his transfer to Celta)
- Álex Collado (500,000 euros for 30% of his sale to Al Shamal of Qatar
Will the Barça receive any other income this summer for a transaction of this style? For the moment we will have to see. A priori, it would seem so, with names like Ez Abde (Real Betis) and Óscar Mingueza (Celta de Vigo) with a certain share of favoritism for it.
