Everything seems to indicate that the future of Viktor Gyökeres is defined. The relentless Swedish gunner, 27 years old, gives the impression of being very close to landing in the Premier League, specifically in one of the clubs of the 'Big Six': Arsenal.

According to the French sports newspaper L'Équipe, the 'Gunners' would have already reached an agreement with the native of Stockholm to join the squad of the London team starting this summer. In turn, the agreement would link Gyökeres with Mikel Arteta's team for a five-season contract, that is, until 2030.

If this operation is made official soon, it will mark one of the great movements of the 2025/26 summer transfer market. It is worth remembering that Gyökeres, who comes from crowning another memorable season at the goalscoring level with Sporting CP, adding 54 goals and 13 assists in 52 matches, currently serves as one of the most sought-after names in regards to 'top' strikers.
