Lamine Yamal and 8 more: Barça has 9 of the 100 most valuable players

The FC Barcelona squad not only boasts being currently the seventh most valuable squad in the world, with a total value of 1,070 million euros. In addition, the Azulgrana team is, together with Real Madrid, Manchester City and Arsenal, the only club with at least nine footballers among the 100 most valuable players today.

According to the specialized website Transfermarkt, Barça has the best player in the world and the most expensive of the moment, Lamine Yamal, with a current value of 200 million euros. Before turning 18, the Mataró native already surpasses the rest of the 'cracks' in Europe and South America, with 20 'kilos' of difference compared to Jude Bellingham, Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé.

However, the team with the most players (10) among the 100 most expensive today is Paris Saint-Germain. Curiously, none of them appear among the 10 most valuable, with Desiré Doué, Kvicha Kvaratskhelia and Ousmane Dembélé being the leaders of the current champion of Europe, with a valuation of 90 'kilos'.

For the moment, behind Lamine, Bellingham, Haland and Mbappé remains Vinicius Jr., with a value of €170M, followed by Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka. Right after, in seventh place, is Pedri González.

The Canary Islander is the most valuable Spanish player today, with a value of 140 million euros. In addition, as far as midfielders are concerned, only Bellingham (€180M) is worth more than the '8' of Barça.

Completing the 'TOP 10' the brand new reinforcement of Liverpool, Florian Wirtz and the Bayern Munich winger, Jamal Musiala, both also valued at 140 'kilos'. In tenth position appears another Real Madrid midfielder, Fede Valverde, with a price of €130M.

The 'Casa Blanca' is the one with the greatest presence in the list of the ten most valuable players (4), followed by Barça (2). Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Bayern are the other clubs with representatives in the table.

In addition to Lamine and Pedri in the 'TOP 10', Barça has seven other players among the 100 most valuable in the world, five of them trained at the club, like Yamal.

Raphinha, thanks to his spectacular 24/25 season, increased his valuation on Transfermarkt to 90 million, making him, for now, the twenty-fourth most expensive on the planet.

Three places further back, with a value of 80 'kilos', appears Pau Cubarsí. The Catalan defender is the most valuable center-back on the planet, with the same value as William Saliba (Arsenal) and Alessandro Bastoni despite being six and eight years younger than the Frenchman and the Italian, respectively.

The other players among the 100 most expensive of the moment in the Azulgrana squad are Jules Koundé (58th place), with a price of €65M, in addition to Gavi, Alejandro Balde and Dani Olmo, all three priced at 60 'kilos'. In 95th place appears Fermín López, with a value of €50M.
