Grifols Denies that it was in negotiations with the Barcelona

After this Wednesday the program "The Club of the Mitjanit" of "Esport 3" and "Catalonia Ràdio" revealed that the FC Barcelona has a very advanced negotiation with the Catalan pharmaceutical multinational Grifols by the sponsorship of the name of the Camp Nou, the own company has wanted to deny it in a communiqué.

Grifols Has issued a communiqué where denies this possible links. "In relation with the news spread on the negotiations between Grifols and the FC Barcelona to associate his name to the of the Camp Nou, the company does not foresee any sponsorship of this type".

The directive of the Barça already had warned in the Assembly of Compromisarios that the first semester of 2018 would celebrate an Extraordinary Assembly to treat this subjectand had aimed that the figures would be upper to the 250 million planned euros.

Like this then , it seems that it would not be Grifols the company that would put surname to the Camp Nou, something increasingly common in the European stadiums and that allows to improve the economy of the clubs that opt by such decision. The money has to prevail by in front of the feelings to guarantee a better future.

The Espai Barça, under way

The Barcelona will have to face up to an important investment to be able to pay the new Espai Barça, that pretends to launch to the Barcelona installations to the highest. It includes:

• Construction of the New Camp Nou.
• Construction of the new Palau in the location of the current Miniestadi
• Transfer of the Miniestadi to the Stadium Johan Cruyff, situated in the Sportive City Joan Gamper, with capacity for 6.000 viewers.
• Complementary development of activities of the Club in the current location of the Palau.
• Including offices, FCBotiga, Tour Experience, gastronomic offer, Espai Barça).
• Improvements of accessibility and parking.
• Integration of the Campus in the neighbourhood of Them Corts.
• Creation of open zones and public steps that integrate the activity of the Club in the city.
• Application of the best practical in matter of energetic efficiency and environmental sustainability.
