Presentation of the agreement between the Barça and the Foundation Éric Abidal

The president of the FC Barcelona, Josep Maria Bartomeu, and the ex footballer of the first Barcelona team, Éric Abidal, participated this past Friday in the presentation of the agreement between the Foundation of the Barça and the Foundation Éric Abidal, that will have a length of five years and whose main aim will be "to work in the sensitisation and the scientific investigation on the childish cancer", in an act of presentation carried out in the Field 9 of the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper of Sant Joan Despí.

Abidal, that attended to the act accompanied of his woman Hayet, devoted some words to the presents and remembered last it that it is the way to the superación of a cancer, something that he same had to suffer in his own meats does already some years. "This fight against the cancer is a very hard way and dícil and when knowing the history know in what can help". "Only see the face of the boys already is a joy because they are an example, do not complain never", said Abidal, ensuring that "they were an example of fight and thought in them during my illness to be stronger".

In this coyuntura, Éric Abidal is very appreciated for having been able to surpass a cancer of liver, something that no a lot of people achieves. "The first in what I think each day is in my woman and my daughters and in God that has helped me a lot", signalled. And in the round of questions wanted to know which has been his best moment like footballer. "There are a lot of good moments, but will say when firm my agreement with the Barça because it was my dream of boy; but also surpass this very hard way (of the cancer) and raise a Champions", commented.
