End the strike! CSD-RFEF agreement to professionalize female arbitration

After a week of strike, the Higher Sports Council, the Royal Spanish Football Federation and the F League reached a historic agreement for the professionalization of women's arbitration that will allow football to resume in the country

The Upper Council of Sports (CSD), the Real Spanish Federation of Football (RFEF) and the Professional League of Feminine Football (LPFF) reached the Wednesday a historical agreement that will allow to guarantee the profesionalización of the feminine arbitration, after a week of protests that carried to the collective strike in the League F.

After the suspension of the first day of the tournament the past weekend, José Manuel Franco, Luis Rubiales, Yolanda Parga and Cold Marten Acedo sealed the pact in the headquarters of the CSD, with which the League F will be able to restart from this weekend, when the calendar marks the start of the day 2. The conversations between the CSD and the RFEF extended during several hours the Wednesday, until finally there was agreement.

"CSD And RFEF reinforce his bet by the feminine football through the consolidation of some budgetary games that have derived in a pioneering pact that will allow the start of the First Division of the Feminine Football", says the communiqué signed by the institutions. The agreement establishes that the CSD will contribute 350.000 extra euros to the year between 2022 and 2025, destined money to a bottom mutual individualizado so that the referees have of him when they finish his professional career.

Likewise, the RFEF will contribute equal quantity of money in the same lapse (three years) to the LPFF by means of the Agreement of Coordination, destined quantity in his whole to the clubs "to face up of the arbitrations of the competition". In this sense, the figures communicated by the League F happen of 300 euros to 1.666 euros by party for the main referee; of 166 to 1.006 euros by party for the assistants and of 84 to 250 euros by party for the fourth referee.

The feminine football returns this weekend

With the signature of the agreement, the League F will restart with the day 2 this weekend. The FC Barcelona will debut in the season in front of the UDG Tenerife.
