Is 'goodbye' coming? Lionel Messi defines when he will hang up his boots
In a recent interview on the 'Big Time' podcast of 'MDC', Lionel Messi has set a 'date' for his retirement from football. His goal, as he has explained, is to stay in the 'battle' as long as it is useful.
Lionel Messi is living an entirely different stage in his career futbolística. In the summer of 2023, decided to put an end to his stage in Europe to assume a new challenge in the Inter of Miami, of the MLS of United States, where has turned into the big offensive reference and the 'engine' of the team of the Florida to his 36 years.
Recently it has participated in the podcast 'Big Time' of 'MDC', of Saudi Arabia, in which it has offered details of how is living his actuality in Fort Lauderdale and put date of caducity to his stage like footballer. The Argentinian is living the last years of a dilated career that began, at least in the elite, with his official debut in the FC Barcelona on 16 October 2004... It does almost twenty years.

In the same podcast, the footballer has recognised that it still does not pose what will happen in the future. It is devoting to enjoy the moment that is living and does not concern of what can happen when it decide to withdraw: "Sincerely, still I have not thought in this because I want to enjoy of my life now. Day in day out. In this moment still enjoy a lot of playing to the football and therefore definitively I want to follow playing by a time. What objective have still? At all concrete. I seat me lucky to having been able to attain all what some time dreamed, inside and out of the field".
